China based mobile manufacturing company Xiaomi lauched another low lost android phone Redmi 2, the successor of Redmi 1S. The all new Redmi 2 will hit market of China on mid January and the cost of the smartphone will be around $110.
Redmi 2 has many new interesting features which make it a much better as compared to Redmi 1s. The new device also supports 4G. Apart from the Redmi 2 is powered by a 64-bit 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor, 2,200mAh battery, 2 MP primary camera and many more. The all new Redmi 2 smartphone also supports QuickCharge 1.0 technology which make the battery charging faster.
When you come to the look, the new model is much thiner (9.2mm) and lighter(133 gm) than its predecessor. Redmi 2 comes with Android 4.4-based MIUI 6.0 software and it’ll surely enhances user experience. The smartphone will be available in 5 different colors- White, Black, Yellow, Pink and Green.
The features which remain same as the older one are 8 GB internal space, 4.7inch HD screen with DragonTrail glass, 1GB RAM and 8 MP rear camera.
Xiaomi, which means “millet” in Chinese was founded by Lei Jun in April, 2010 and it becomes one of the fastest growing mobile manufacturing company. The company sold more than 61.12 million smartphones in 2014, up 227 per cent year on year. Xiaomi also expanded its sales to six new countries in 2014, including India, Philippines, Singapore and Malaysia.
