Micromax Unveils Dual-OS Tablet LapTab

India’s one of the most popular handset maker company Micromax introduced Canvas LapTab tablet. The tablet will run on both Android (Jelly Bean) and Windows 8 operating systems.

micromax labtabMicromax unveiled the device at the ongoing Consumer Electronics Show, which will be available in the market in early February. The new tablet comes with a 10.1-inch IPS display, 2GB RAM, 2MP front camera and 7400mAh battery. LapTab tablet is powered by 1.46GHz Intel Celeron processor.

The all new tablet comes with a storage capacity of 32 GB and also supports memory card upto 64GB. Other features included Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi etc. A wireless keyboard also comes with the tablet to make it more user friendly.

“Over the past few years, we have been witnessing a growing trend of increasing consumer demand for two operating systems in one device, which offers a blend of great PC like productivity in a tablet like form factor for seamless consumption,” Micromax co-founder Rahul Sharma said.
