Do you want to upgrade your 4G smartphone to a brand new 5G smartphone this festive season? If yes, Xiaomi India is launching Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro in India on October 15. Manu Kumar Jain, MD of Xiaomi India has confirmed the same soon after its global unveil last week. Both the phones have an identical hole-punch display design and offer 144Hz refresh rate.
Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro were launched globally at a price of EUR 499 (roughly Rs. 43,000) and EUR 599 (roughly Rs. 51,700), respectively. We hope, in India too both the phones would be available in the same price range. Though, Jain hasn’t mentioned anything about Mi 10 lite in his post, we may see it in India at a later day.
Specifications Of Mi 10T And Mi 10T Pro
Both the phones the phones will run on MIUI 12, based on Android 10. The Mi 10T 5G features a 6.67-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) display with 20:9 aspect ratio, 144Hz refresh rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. In comparison, the Mi 10T Pro 5G features a 6.67-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) display. Both the phones run on octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC, coupled with up to 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM.
Now lets talk about the camera. Mi 10T 5G features a 64-megapixel primary sensor, along with a 13-megapixel secondary sensor with an ultra-wide angle lens, and 5-megapixel sensor with a macro lens at the back. Whereas, Mi 10T Pro comes with a 108-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS), 13-megapixel secondary sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 5-megapixel sensor with a macro lens at the back. Both the phones feature a 20 MP camera at the front.
The company also has provided 5000mAh battery on both the phones which support 33W fast charging. For connectivity both the phones support 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, infrared (IR), and a USB Type C port. Like other modern phones, both Mi 10T and Mi 10T pro also has side mounted fingerprint sensor.
