They select the course according to their interest and aptitude. Graduation in commerce and science is the most obvious choice of students. Students who are completing class 12th in science they can appear in engineering and premedical to get admission in engineering and medical colleges. Entrance Exam for Indian Army
- National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA):
This is the best career option for the students who want to serve their country. Qualifying students will have an opportunity to work in Indian Airforce, Indian Army, and Indian Navy. Students must be from a recognized school board with Maths and physics in 12th standard.
- Indian Navy B.Tech Entry Scheme:
Students of class 12 can get admission in B.Tech course of Indian Navy.
- Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test:
It is an competitive exam for students of 12th standard can study Diploma course in Nautical offering a BSc. in Nautical Science. The exam is conducted all over India
- Indian army Technical entry Scheme (TES):
Students of class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths can appear for this exam.
- Indian Navy Sailors recruitment:
Students of class 12 with Maths and Biology/Chemistry/Physics/Computer Science can sit for this exam and they will be trained at INS Chilka.
Entrance Exam for Engineering
- Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Mains:
JEE Exam is the common entrance exam for students of class 12 for engineering. Students having PCM in 12 can appear for this exam. Qualifying students can apply for admission in different engineering colleges in India like IITs, NITs and other Central and State Engineering colleges.
- Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Advanced:
Students qualifying in JEE Mains can appear in Jee Advanced. Qualifying JEE Advanced students can get admission in NITs, IITs and other Central and State Engineering colleges.
- National Aptitude Test (NATA):
Students can get admission in Bachelor of Architecture course in government and private colleges in India.
- Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test (BITSAT):
Students can appear for this entrance for engineering in BITS Goa, Pilani, and Hyderabad.
Entrance Exam for Medical
- All India Pre Medical Test (AIPMT):
Students can sit for this exam to get admission in government dental or medical college in India. This exam is conducted by CBSE.
- National Eligibility Entrance Exam for Undergraduate (NEET-UG):
Students of class 12 Science can sit for this entrance to get admission in BDS or MBBS courses. CBSE conducts this entrance exam all over India.
- All India Pre Veterinary Test (AIPVT):
AIPVT is conducted for admission in A.H. and B.V.Sc. degree courses in Veterinary with a five years course. Students of 12th standard with Physics,Chemistry, and Biology can get admission in any veterinary colleges under government.
- Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC):
AFMC is a very tough entrance exams after class 12. Students with not less than 60% in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and 50% in English are eligible for this exam. This entrance Exam is all over India which offers a career in the Indian defense service medical branch.
Entrance Exam for Law
- Law School Admission Test (LSAT):
Students can get admission in B.A. LL.B (Hons) in colleges like RGSOIPL, UPES Dehradun, Amity by qualifying this entrance exam.
- Common Law Admission Test (CLAT):
Students can get admission in undergraduate and postgraduate courses of L.L.M and L.L.B. The exam is conducted by fourteen National Law Universities which is an all India entrance exam after 12th.

- National Council for hotel Management and Catering technology (NCHMCT):
Students interested in the hotel industry and catering can appear for this entrance exam after 12th standard. Qualifying students get admission for a 3 years course of B.Sc degree in Hotel and Hospitality. English is a compulsory subject to appear in this exam.
