Update Samsung Galaxy Pocket S5300 to S5300XXLF5 Android 2.3.6 Official Firmware

Step 1    Extract Firmware zip file that you have already downloaded from above link, you will get a .tar file and some other files.

Step 2   Next extract Odin zip file and you will get Odin3 v1.85.exe and Odin3.ini in extracted folder.

Step 3   Now Power off your android phone and Wait 5-6 seconds confirm complete switch off.

Step 4   Now, put your Galaxy Pocket GT-S5300 in Download Mode by pressing and holding down the Volume Down and Home buttons while pressing the Power button until you seen a green robot indicating you are in Download Mode.

Step 5   Run Odin3 v1.85.exe as an Administrator as Admin privileges is required to complete the process smoothly.

Step 6   Now its time to connect your Galaxy Pocket GT-S5300 with your PC using USB cable. After successfully connected a message will arrive under Odin’s message box in the bottom left saying “Added!!”.

Step 8   In Odin, you need to check on Auto Reboot and F Reset Time options. Remember – you can only check on re-partition option if .PIT file is available to you.

Step 9   Now check you have followed each & everything, mentioned in the above steps. if all are fine then click on Start button to start the installation process and this process may take around 6-7 minutes to complete.

Step 10   After the completion of the process, you need to restart your mobile phone or will restart automatically. Once you see the home screen on your display, you can unplug your Galaxy Pocket GT-S5300 Plus from Computer.
