World’s leading mobile manufacturing company Samsung has announced a new Android smartphone, called the Samsung Galaxy Grand. The new Smartphone will be available in both dual SIM version (GT-I9082) as well as single SIM version (GT-I9080). The dual-SIM variant is dual-active.
Samsung Galaxy Grand sports a 5.0-inch WVGA display. Apart from that the Smartphone comes with a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB of internal storage and also supports microSD card up to 64GB. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n (2.4GHz), Wi-Fi HT40, USB 2.0, Bluetooth 4.0 + LE, A-GPS and many more.
The all new Samsung Galaxy Grand runs on Android 4.1.2 also includes various softwares to make the Smartphone more user friendly. Other features include accelerometer, light and proximity sensors, gyro sensor, digital compass, Direct call, PopUp Video and the virtual assistant S Voice etc.
The Samsung Galaxy Grand comes with a 8-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front camera capable of making 720p video calls. The price and availibility of the phone is not yet declared by Samsung.
