HTC has officially announced the launch of Desire X smartphone in India, which was unveiled at the IFA 2012 by HTC for the first time. HTC Desire X runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and is available at a price tag of Rs 19,799.
The HTC Desire X features a 4.0-inch capacitive touch screen with 800 X 480 pixels resolution. The device is powered by 1 GHz dual-core processor. Other features include 5MP rear camera, 768MB RAM, 4GB of internal memory, microSD card slot, and a 1650 mAh battery. The buyers of Desire X will also get 25GB of cloud storage from Dropbox, which is valid for two years. For connectivity HTC Desire X has 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, DLNA, Bluetooth 4.0 with A2Dp and aptX audio and a GPS. The camera allows users to capture video and stills at the same time.
